Preparations are already underway for next year’s Spring of Culture Festival which will mark its 10th anniversary.
Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Culture, revealed next year’s festival will be held under the title ‘Our Heritage is Our treasure’. It will showcase world heritage through international groups that will visit the kingdom, highlighting their local culture.
Kamal bin Ahmed, Minister of Transportation and acting chief executive of the Economic Development Board, added: “The Spring of Culture Festival has achieved its set goals, and has managed to attract more tourists from the region as well as reflect Bahrain’s openness and cultural scene.”
