Students from various schools across the kingdom will sing and dance their hearts out on Saturday at the Cultural Hall in Manama as part of the British School of Bahrain (BSB) Variety Performance Show.
The event, organised by the Academy of Performing Arts based at the school, will kick-off at 5.30pm featuring around 190 youngsters showcasing their soulful skills in a variety of musical acts.
Musical director Lydia Martin will lead different choirs from the years of seven to 18, alongside adults, and dance director, Louise Chapman, has choreographed routines to show off the students’ fancy footwork.
Miss Chapman said: “The purpose of this event is to show the hard work that the children and adults have put in throughout the year. Our aim is to put on a show like the London Variety Performance.
“We have been working on this for a couple of months now so parents prepare to be dazzled.”
Tickets cost BD8 and can be purchased from BSB in Hamala.
