Nothing feels as good as the feeling you get when you’ve completed a workout. You feel energised and happy, and you feel like you’ve achieved something good.
So where’s the problem?
The problem starts when we leave the gym and your appetite starts to grow. And then hunger takes you to the worst choices – fast food, chocolates, chips, and the list goes on.
I have a solution, and it’s easier than you think.
When you go for a workout, always take a snack with you that you can eat when you’re done. In your gym bag, put a few snack options.
Like what? A piece of fruit, such as an apple or banana. A handful of raw nuts. A light sandwich filled with vegetables or hummus. Or even some vegetable sticks or a small container of olives. This snack will give you renewed energy. And it will fill you up a bit so you can choose your next meal wisely (not in hunger).
Organise your day and plan your meals. That’s how easy it is to reach optimum health!
