BAYTI, a new contemporary restaurant, opened this week offering diners a fresh selection of modern Middle Eastern dishes from around the region.

The name means ‘my home’ in Arabic and it is located off the King Faisal Highway close to Kids Kingdom and the Bahrain Financial Harbour, with pedestrian access from Manama Central via a foot bridge.

According to Bahrain Family Leisure Company (BFLC), which also operates award-winning restaurants Cucina Italiana and Bennigans, Bayti’s chef-driven menu aims to entice guests with modern twists on traditional home-style recipes.

BFLC’s general manager, Peter Lyons, said: “Bayti is an evolution of Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes at an affordable price. We wanted to create a concept that would wow each guest both in terms of food, décor and service style.

“Our team will offer a relaxed, casual style of interactive service, while our chefs will delight with signature dishes such as our Gourmet Shawarma, regional specialities and homemade desserts.”

There will be an executive buffet lunch, kids menu, a hearty iftar buffet during Ramadan and a delivery service.
