La Mosaique Restaurant at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain hotel in Manama will be hosting special offers during Ramadan. The Iftar Buffet will be served from 6-8pm and costs BD11.950++ for adults and BD5.950++ for kids. For every Iftar dinner served, 500fils will be donated to a local charity. There will also be a special lunch for Eid with henna and face painting for kids. The buffet will cost BD13++ for adults and BD6.500++ for kids.

Skyw@lk Café, located in the Marriott Executive Apartments, Manama, has a daily Iftar buffet, starting at sunset. On Friday, there will a special dinner buffet to celebrate American Independence Day starting at 6pm. On Monday July 14, there will be another special dinner buffet to celebrate French National Day (Bastille Day) starting at 6pm.

Finally, there will be a special Eid breakfast and dinner buffets during the holiday.

All four events cost BD8 inclusive of one soft drink. All prices are subject to 15 per cent service charge and 5 per cent government levy.

Ramee Grand Hotel & Spa, Seef, will be serving a nightly Arabic buffet during Ramadan at its Khaymat Al Seef tent. There will be a range of Middle Eastern specialties and beverages, along with the live music of a traditional Arabic band. The Iftar buffet will run from sunset until 9pm; the Ghabga buffet starts at 9pm and will be available until 2am. They are priced at BD12++ on weekdays and at BD14++ on weekends (Thursdays and Fridays). Children between ages four and 12 can enjoy the Iftar buffet at BD6++, while those below four years can dine for free.

A Mediterranean-style buffet will be held in the Royal Golf Club’s Prego! restaurant every evening during Ramadan.
Diners will be able to break their fast with appetizers such as herb-crumbed stuffed roasted peppers, salads, soups, pumpkin and feta cannelloni, lamb kleftico and moussaka and a selection of desserts including Moroccan pastries, baklawa and tiramisu.

There will be a daily Iftar buffet at Al Wasmeyyah restaurant featuring traditional Arabic cuisine priced at BD8.500++ all inclusive of food and selected beverages, from sunset to 9pm with a raffle and entertainment during the weekend.

InterContinental Regency Bahrain’s Al Thurraya tent is serving up a tasty Iftar buffet from sunset to 9pm price at BD14++ per person. The Ghabga buffet is then open until 2am alongside live entertainment and it is priced at BD16++ per person.

Seef Mall is hosting a month-long cultural festival in celebration of Ramadan. The West Wing will showcase popular and traditional Islamic customs such as art, music, fashion and food.

The festival will feature a different theme each week starting with an arts and music showcase that will run from today until July 9 from 7.30pm until midnight every day except Friday. It will offer visitors an up-close experience of Arabic calligraphy and music.

There will be an arts and crafts corner where guests can paint and decorate Arabic lanterns and music enthusiasts will also have the chance to learn to play the Oud with daily lessons offered for free.

Fashion shows featuring traditional attire will be showcased from July 10 to 16 alongside an Arabic band daily at 10pm and 11pm.

Food is the theme from July 17 – 23. Visitors can enjoy a delectable array of traditional Arabic savories and sweets which they can take away for their festive gatherings at home. Visitors will also be treated to traditional Arabic tea and coffee served with dates.

A summer camp is running from today until August 31 at Adhari Park. ‘The Best Summer Camp in the World’ will offer children a chance to interact socially and take part in a variety of community projects. Entertainment includes video games, computers, arts and crafts, drama, music and sports.

The camp costs BD85 a month, including breakfast, and runs from Sundays to Thursdays from 8am to 2pm. Transportation is also available at BD15. A donation of BD5 from every registration will be given to Sneha; a recreational centre for children with special needs run by the Indian Ladies Association.
