Nils Berge and Petter Nyberg were crowned overall champions of the African & Eastern Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club.
Jason McNamara and playing partner Joe Lichon won the sixth and final event with a nett score of 31. Kevin Ross and Paul Fourie were runners up with 33.8 nett and Michael Ross and Kevin Dell came third with 35.2 nett. Anders Sandstrom came closest to the pin on the 12th hole and Nils Berge was closest to the pin on hole 16.
Berge and Nyberg won two of the six competitions, giving them 10 points on the overall leader board. The duo of Chris Meyer and Paul Van Royhen were a close second on 9 points and Wayne Giles and Murtuz Zamanly came third with 8 points.
More than 40 golfers competed in the final greensomes competition including both club Captains, Dena Wales and Stephen Wagstaff.

The BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf Series takes place at the Royal Golf Club every Monday evening. The 9 hole competitions are open to non-members at a cost of just BD20 per night and tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start.
