Four new World Cup perfumes have been captivating football fans worldwide and the sweet scent of success has caught on in the kingdom.
The 2014 Fifa World Cup Brazil fragrances were recently launched by Al Hawaj throughout its outlets and they have already scored with customers.
Shyam Naryanan, Al Hawaj operations manager, said: “We were the agent for World Cup perfume in Bahrain in 2010. Due to its success, we decided to bring the new World Cup scent back in 2014.
“We have been receiving tremendous reviews as its smells great and can act as a souvenir for the 2014 World Cup. There are four different perfumes, two for men and two for women. Some of our customers end up collecting all four to keep them as pieces of memorabilia, while others simply like the smell!”
The perfumes were created by Guido M Schmitt, the owner of a Cologne perfume company who is not only familiar with Brazil but is also a passionate football fan.
The Classic Man and Classic Woman have an elegant edge and feature a blend of oriental, fruity, woody and spicy aromas. The Passion Man and Passion Woman, however, are described as ‘sporty, bold and full of fruitiness and spice’.
The 100ml bottles are priced at BD12 and available in store now.
