Gulf Weekly New model from luxury marque unveiled in Bahrain

The sleek and sophisticated Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II was unveiled at an exclusive event at the Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa.

The launch by Euro Motors, the dealer of Rolls-Royce in the kingdom, was attended by top company officials, VIPs and British Ambassador to Bahrain, Iain Lindsay.

“Rolls-Royce has a long and proud history of striving for perfection and for taking the best that exists and making it even better,” said Paul Yates, general manager, Euro Motors.

“In the quest to produce vehicles that embody supreme quality, effortless performance and the cutting-edge of technology, the engineers at Goodwood have improved on the masterpiece that is Ghost with the Ghost Series II, creating a remarkably connected and dynamic vehicle.”

The new model has been subtly re-designed both inside and out but is instantly recognisable as a member of the Ghost family.

Changes to the Ghost Series II begin in the front, with re-sculpted LED headlights encircled by daytime running lights. There is also a tapered ‘wake channel’ on the bonnet, which the company says evokes the sight of a jet’s vapour trail.

Meanwhile, the subtle adjustments to the bumpers create a stronger stance and a sense of extra width and height. The sleek design is further enhanced with the addition of chrome inserts to the front air intakes, which now feed more air cooling to the front brakes.

In addition, the side character line, which the company calls the ‘waft line’, now ends less abruptly.

Inside is just as luxurious and the Ghost Series II boasts the latest in industry-leading technology from Rolls-Royce.

The result is the ultimate expression of modern dynamism and luxury, a dramatic yet graceful vehicle that is effortless thanks to cutting-edge technology, its makers say.

On-board Wi-Fi transforms the Ghost Series II into the most connected, luxurious place in which to conduct business on the move, whilst Satellite Aided Transmission (SAT) ensures the car automatically adapts to its surroundings, augmenting the drive experience.

Updates to navigation systems and the car/user interface ensures accessing the Ghost’s features remains an effortless experience, whilst optional Bespoke Audio brings new levels of aural satisfaction to passengers.
