The Ramee Grand Hotel & Spa in Seef is inviting diners to experience the traditional flavours of India at its Rasoi restaurant and celebrate Indian Independence day in style this Friday.

Dishes are prepared under the watchful eye of Chef Subir Chowdhury, who boasts vast experience across a number of international hotel chains.

“The restaurant’s offerings make you want to indulge in the diversity of Indian cuisine as it takes you on a culinary journey with open exhibition kitchen and live cooking areas. Rasoi covers all the regions of India,” a spokesperson said.

The venue, which can seat 80 guests is known for its signature dishes prepared by the chefs at any time of the day. Rasoi is known for its tandoori vegetarian delights stuffed with mixed nuts, mint and cheese served with fig chutney.

With a wide range of dishes to choose from, the restaurant aims to cater to all tastes. Some of the more popular items include a seafood platter with salmon, prawns and crab served with crab chutney, bhetki macher and pan-seared sea bass with crispy okra.

Those with an appetite can indulge in imliwali (tamarind) chicken or slow-cooked lamb shanks served with a traditional biryani.

There will also be a live ghazal band while you dine to help create the perfect atmosphere.
