British journalist Charlie Holding has been appointed Editor of Bahrain This Month, the Gulf region’s first English-language lifestyle magazine, which recently celebrated its 200th issue.
Mr Holding, 29, from London, who gained a BA in Journalism at the University of Sunderland, started his career as a reporter and sub-editor at the Gulf Daily News before joining GulfWeekly.
During a five-year-stint at the biggest-selling English language publication in the kingdom, Mr Holding was promoted through the ranks to the position of assistant editor.
Stan Szecowka, 55, was recently appointed Editorial Adviser of Bahrain This Month and Woman This Month, and continues in the Editor’s chair at Gulf Weekly.
