A better way to brush your teeth is to use baking soda, which is more effective at cleaning and whitening teeth without the side-effects of fluoride in regular toothpaste.

Fluoride has been known to cause many side-effects including thyroid dysfunction, lowered immunity and increased absorption of toxic metals such as lead.

Of course, you can always use fluoride-free toothpaste, but baking soda is a very convenient, cheap, and natural alternative to regular toothpaste.

The most important thing is that you buy baking soda from health stores. Why? Because regular commercial baking soda usually contains aluminium (a toxic mineral which you should not be consuming); so make sure it says ‘aluminium-free’ on the pack.

You just need to put a pinch of baking soda on your wet toothbrush and use it just like regular toothpaste and rinse well. Try it and see the effects for yourself.
