New car launches in Bahrain

YK Almoayyed & Sons launched the latest enhanced version of Infiniti’s flagship SUV, the 2015 QX80. The event was attended by its management team, members of the media and guests at the Infiniti showroom in Sitra.

The QX80 full-size luxury SUV offers a fresh new exterior design, a more crafted interior, additional standard features and technology and will come in two Grade levels – Excellence and Luxury – both with the option of seven or eight seats.

Paul Baker, general manager of Infiniti Bahrain, said: “The new model further enhances the first class, every day character familiar to current QX80 owners and takes it to even greater heights. We have introduced significant changes to the QX80 which include Predictive Forward Collision Warning and Forward Emergency Braking.”

The QX80 options are available from BD29,995 to BD31,995.

Mohammed Jalal and Sons launched the new Suzuki Ciaz at its showroom in Sitra.
The sedan features a four-cylinder 1400cc engine with a new infotainment system, including a CD player, USB connection and Bluetooth alongside a full ABS brake system.

The first turbocharged compact crossover Lexus model, the new NX 200t, has been unveiled in Bahrain.

NX chief engineer Takeaki Kato, who travelled to the kingdom for the unveiling alongside Ebrahim K Kanoo executives, said: “The NX 200t combines performance, numerous on-board technologies and an alluring design to make it desirable for customers.

“This SUV represents the ultimate in premium urban sports gear and is designed to support an active lifestyle on the weekend while also complementing daily life on the move.”

The 2.0-litre engine produces 235bhp and comes with a world-first combination of a water-cooled cylinder head integrated exhaust manifold and twin scroll turbo charger.
