Oh là là! Shoppers have been enjoying a little French fancy at a special Francophile festival at Jawad Supermarket.
The Jawad Dome in Barbar was transformed into an enticing Parisian grocery experience. French ambassador to Bahrain, Bernard Régnauld-Fabre, visited the supermarket for the launch last week of ‘Experience France’ and expressed his appreciation of the colourful displays and the array of products on display.
Faisal Jawad, chairman and CEO, Jawad Business Group, also accompanied him along with other VIPs.
Themed flags and blue, white and red balloons created a Vive La France ambience as did a host of tempting Parisian products and exclusive offers from the capital and other regions of the European country.
Equally irresistible, a live cooking station with a French chef whipped up a host of delights. Visiting French schoolchildren also enjoyed a cookie station where they were taught some of the tricks of biscuit decoration.
