ART Rotana Amwaj Islands, the newly-opened luxury hotel in the heart of Amwaj, hosted an Italian-themed event to mark the opening of the hotel’s latest outlet ‘Rosso’, a rustic Italian restaurant.

The fun-filled occasion representative of Italy’s culture and spirit, featured entertainment for both adults and kids including live music, face-painting, surprise treats for the children and an array of culinary delights of authentic Italian cuisine.

The event was attended by Marco Esposto, Deputy Head of Mission, Italian Embassy in Bahrain, and members of the media and the local community.

Rosso has indoor and outdoor dining areas and easy access to the adult and kids pools and is close to a ‘dancing’ fountain. Children were also entertained by dough-throwing and pizza-making tricks performed by the chefs.

The dining destination offers a wide selection of dishes, freshly-made pastas and hand-stretched pizzas baked in a traditional oven. Specialty outlet chef Federica Piccioni says she aims to offer customers an ‘authentic Italian experience’.
