MUSIC festivals have now become a part of Western culture with 450 held in the UK alone. However, way over in ‘Merica’ is the mother of all festivals, Coachella, which rocks in $67million a year in revenue.

This annual two-weekend, three-day music and arts festival founded by Paul Tollett in 1999 is held at the Empire Polo Club, Indio, in the US sunshine state of California, located in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. This year it has attracted big names like AC/DC, Drake and Jack White.

Last year, the iconic music fest headlined with Outkast, Muse and Arcade Fire while Skrillex, Pharrell Williams, Lana Del Rey, the Replacements, Beck, Calvin Harris and a dozen of indie, dance and hip-hop acts pumped the tunes nonstop on the festival’s five stages.

Due to the massive musical attraction and high-society attendance (much like F1 here in Bahrain) the festival now has its own branded look with fashionistas taking centre stage in order to trend-set and turn heads.

The good news is that adorning ‘Indio’ just got easier because H&M has announced a new clothing line inspired by the festival itself. Even though the venue has been already sold out you can still buy H&M’s ‘Coachella’ collection. This coveted festival gear is available now in all the stores worldwide. Therefore, you can look good ‘Boho’ while visiting your own local party venues.

This exclusive line offers both men and women’s clothing along with a variety of accessories and aims to embody the aesthetic of Coachella 2015 event and just so happens to be on trend for SS15 with that ‘70s show’ vibe. The women’s line focuses on a romantic trend with graphic tops, fringe, lace, playsuits, crop-tops, shorts, and wide-legged pants for a feminine bohemian babe appeal. For men there will be graphic T-shirts and shorts.

* FashionWeekly Coachella Picks:
Girls that want to be the ‘best of their besties’, choose a white lacy floral cut-out crop adorned with retro fringe paired with brown suede shorts and a sexy floral kimono. Throw on a pair of brown suede booties and you will be completely sorted.

Gents can ‘jam’ with their buddies in cool distressed denim, purposely ripped and tattered, with a beachy graphic top and a pair of trendy trainers.

Considering the cost of a Coachella ticket, prices for clothing seem reasonable, ranging from BD3 up to BD20.
