Gulf Weekly Write to the editor

GREETINGS from Japan. I am on your Facebook ‘likes’ listings and always enjoy reading the GulfWeekly online.

It’s nice to see Paul Fraser back at the Dilly, as featured on Page 2 of last week’s issue.

I just want to put out a congratulatory message in your next edition and to wish him every success as general manager once more. All the best to the GulfWeekly team too!

Murthy Iyer, by email.

Editor’s note: Murthy enjoyed 22 years at the Dilmun Club in Saar, six in the role of acting general manager. He is now working with the Accor Group’s Mercure Hotel in Tokyo in its food and beverage department.

AS Bahrain welcomes world champion Lewis Hamilton to the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, shoppers can enjoy a continuing taste of the best of Britain starting with an English-themed live cooking demonstration with renowned Chef Alexandra Mariot at Jawad Supermarket in The Jawad Dome, Barbar, next Tuesday.

She will continue her cooking show every Tuesday, sharing the finest recipes with shoppers throughout the day.

Come see the live cooking demonstrations along with your loved ones, get some exciting tips from Alexandra and taste all the dishes you like from full English breakfasts, Shepherd’s Pie for lunch, scones for tea or Meat roasts with mint sauce for a dinnertime treat.

Hady El-shazly, marketing coordinator.
