Today (April 29) The fifth annual Health and Wellness Expo opened yesterday and will continue at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sanabis today and tomorrow.
The first Bahrain Best Barista Competition is being staged as part of the seventh annual Food & Hospitality Expo held at the same venue. Five-star hotel chefs are also competing.
Entrance is free to both events with doors open from 10am-7pm.
Tomorrow (April 30) BMMI is staging its annual Hops Festival at Café Amsterdam in Adliya. From 7pm-11pm there will be live entertainment and canapés.
Tickets are BD12 net each and can be purchased at BMMI Shops, Café Amsterdam or on the door.

St Christopher’s Cathedral is hosting a recital by American pianist Jill Laping at 6pm. Her concert programme will include traditional and contemporary gospel music and a comedy piece. She will also be joined by Bahrain-based Belorussian pianist Eleonora Stanevich.

La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art will have its last opera concert in the open air for the season featuring soprano Anna Karadimitrova, clarinettist Preslave Petkov and pianist Stephanie Cheng.
