Bahrain International Circuit is staging the latest edition of the Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Night in Sakhir, where drag racers and drifters can take their own cars and motorbikes and push them to the limit in a safe and controlled environment.
Participants can either drag or drift for BD7 per event or do both for a single fee of BD10. There will also be the unique Dragster Xperience as part of the programme for BD40. Registration can take place on site from 5pm and the event will be held between 6pm-11pm. Those who would like to experience the drag or drift as a passenger can do so for BD4 and spectators can enjoy the show for BD2.

The 5th annual Animania gaming convention in Bahrain takes place at the Bahrain International Circuit with doors opening at noon. It will feature competitions, tournaments and a market amongst other attractions. A concert at the end of the day will feature Two Akcenta, pictured above, a duo once part of one of Romania’s top boy bands, plus a performance by Bahrain’s heavy metal band Metaholic and a guest guitarist playing a selection of anime and gaming soundtracks. Tickets start from BD5 in advance and BD7 on the gate.
