Ashrafs, an electronics and home accessory retailer, has unveiled its new multi-storey business tower and revamped showroom complex in one of the busiest shopping areas of Manama.
The complex in Hoora, connected to the existing shopping outlet from the ground and mezzanine floors, now boasts a total surface area of 1,600sq/m to display popular brands such as Sony, Nikon, Bose, Casio, Brother, Case logic, Lalique, WMF, Brabantia, Lékué, Sencor, Descamps and more.
Executive director Amal Yousif Almoayyed said: “The new look provides customers with a mall shopping experience but in a more relaxed atmosphere.
“One of the most favoured aspects of Ashrafs at the moment is our wedding corner. We love the fact that we can help people start their new lives together. Before we would just offer linens but now we also provide bathroom ware, home accessories, albums, picture frames, crystals, scented candles and more.
“Also, while we do have high-end products, we also offer affordable lines. Our aim is to have something for everyone.”
There are also three ‘shop-in-shop’ concepts – a Samsung section offering a wide range of electronics, an Asghar Ali Arabic perfumery area and Ashraf BGDC, featuring international labels in cosmetics and perfumes.
Ashrafs is a fully-owned subsidiary of YK Almoayyed & Sons (YKA). As well as the showroom, the six-storey building contains offices and a multi-purpose hall.
It was inaugurated last week by Zayed R Alzayani, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, alongside YKA chairman Farouk Yousif Almoayyed, with other officials, guests and members of the media.
