MOTOR shows aren’t the only place where Toyota showcases its concepts. It also unveils something new every year for the Tokyo Toy Show.

Families last week had their pictures taken inside the open cockpit and were able then to customise the vehicle using an augmented reality tablet app.

The aim was to let children and their parents share the ‘child-like wonder and excitement’ of cars and trucks.

The Camatte Vision, however, is a real working car. Japanese car designer Kota Nezu and Toyota Motor employee Sumie Teraoka are seen here displaying the concept model of the three-seater electric vehicle with a roadster body at the show.
