Promising young golfer Saud Al Sharif, pictured right, won three categories in this month’s DHL Order or Merit competition at the Royal Golf Club.
The 16-year-old clinched the men’s gross division with a score of 72 and his four handicap gave him a score of 68 in the nett category too. His par round of 72 also gave him top place in the juniors’ gross division.
Another in-form youngster, Yaseen Le Falher, was runner-up in the men’s gross division with a two over par 74 and clinched third place on countback in the nett division with 72 nett. He was also runner-up in the Junior category.
Samantha Hill won both the ladies gross and nett categories with scores of 95 on countback and 76 nett, respectively.
More than 50 golfers competed in the monthly members’ event.
