A ‘Taste’ exhibition will be on display at Malja, Amwaj Islands, from August 15-30. It features a collection of experiments by a group of artists in an effort to synthesise through art.

The first edition of Animate Dubai will take place from December 3-5 at Dubai Design District in the UAE. The three-day festival offers a weekend packed with animated films, themed talks, activities for all ages, and a chance to meet animation pioneers from around the world.

This fast-growing sporting craze combines football and golf with players kicking a football into giant-sized cups on a golf course in as few shots as possible.
The competitions kick off at 7pm under floodlights on the main Colin Montgomerie-designed course and are open to all.
‘We are now getting 60 to 70 people each Sunday - it’s really taking off!” explained Sue Addison, senior marketing & PR manager.
