Father and son Ross and Justin Clewley claimed the final competition of the Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a massive 44 points, putting them at the top of the overall series order of merit.
The pair won three out of the six competitions in the series and topped the leader board with 15 points, six points clear of runners-up Steve Middleton and Ashley Price. Middleton and new playing partner Wayne Giles were distant runners-up in the final ‘3x3 Stableford’ competition with 33 points. The duo of Dave Fernie and Paul Gindra came third on 30 points.
Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Mike Brightmore and David Wales, respectively. Sheldon Cameron, the golf operations manager, distributed the prizes.
Order of Merit Top 3: 1st Ross & Justin Clewley (15 points), 2nd Ashley Price & Steve Middleton (9), 3rd Navid & Taimur Malik (7).
