For a full shot on average a regular golfer will get the ball to the hole only three times out of 18 holes.

This means that on approximately 15 holes the player has selected the wrong club or has not struck it correctly.

Next time you play, take one to two clubs more to ensure the ball has a chance to reach the pin.

Taking an extra club also allows you to swing ‘easy’ with good tempo giving a better chance of decent contact.
