Direct your satellites to the west because eight-time Grammy award-winning artist Rihanna, Selena Gomez and Grammy award-nominated The Weeknd will perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, to be broadcast on Tuesday, December 8 (10pm-11pm, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The show will be seen in more than 180 countries and will include pink carpet interviews, model profiles, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world’s most celebrated fashion show and the multi-million dollar ‘Fantasy Bra’.
The lavish event merges fashion, fantasy and entertainment into a runway spectacle that features varying music by leading entertainers, and multiple set designs co-ordinated with the themes running within the show. It attracts literally hundreds of celebrities, acts and performers each year. The world’s top fashion models are honoured to strut this famous catwalk wearing various forms and sizes of ‘wings’, which include peacock, butterfly or devil spreads.
The contracted ‘Victoria Secret Angels’, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge, as well as newest Angels Elsa Hosk, Jac Jagaciak, Jasmine Tookes, Kate Grigorieva, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, Taylor Hill and ‘VS Pink’ model Rachel Hilbert, will be there this year.
The show is being produced by Done+Dusted, inc.
Edward G Razek, Monica Mitro, Ian Stewart and Hamish Hamilton are the executive producers with Hamish also taking the role of director.
