Counsellor and life-coach Kelly Armatage will be launching an entrepreneurial training course next weekend to arm businessmen and women with the skills, positive attitude and confidence needed to climb the career ladder.

Aside from developing the ‘A.S.K - A Serenity Kit’ to help individuals combat stress, the cognitive behavioural therapist has been staging training seminars to assist working men and women on achieving their career goals and improving their company’s efficiency.

After 25 people sat in on one of her recent entrepreneurial workshops, entitled Top Job, held at her office in Mahooz, four of the participants set off to get new jobs while one landed a promotion.

Kelly said: “I have been offering training workshops and seminars for individuals and companies over the last decade. These tend to be revolving around leadership, becoming an entrepreneur, parenting, confidence and self-esteem-based subjects. I love to empower people to heal any negative inner programming they may have so that they can go forward into conducting pleasurable, healthy and successful lives.

“Anyone who attends my seminars tends to get a healing or transformation. I have had people come up to me in Bahrain and say something like ‘I lost five kilos since your last seminar’, ‘my marriage is better’ or ‘I’m smashing my goals’. It is comments like these that spur me on to create more seminars and to offer help.”

Kelly has also led seminars for 300 people, such as at a recent event in Oman, as well as more intimate workshops for up to 30-50 guests.

Her new course called ‘The 9 Habits of Epic Entrepreneurship’ aims to teach guests the insights, rituals, habits and techniques of the ‘super successful’. According to Kelly, this training has been created exclusively for leaders, creators, innovators, change-makers and visionaries.

She said: “I like to vary the exercises, tools and insights offered on each course and seminar so that the client’s experience is powerful.

“In this course, specific and proven subconscious techniques are offered so that the attendees leave with a wealth of information to truly transform their lives and productivity. It is designed to increase the positivity, profit and performance of the entrepreneur and chief executive officer’s organisation.

“Statistically, CEOs spend more money on therapy, coaching and training than entertainment. If you are a person looking for success then investing in your own development can really pay off.”

Wafa Obaidat, chief executive officer and creative director of Obai & Hill Public Relations and Design Agency, says she has been mentored by Kelly for several years and this has helped her dismiss any negative traits and think more positively, adding: “She has helped me focus my energy.”

The workshop costs BD30. For more information, call 17002320 or email info@kellyarmatage.com
