The ground floor of the showroom showcased vintage 1969 Jaguar E-Type and Land Rover Defender vehicles to represent distributor Euro Motors’ theme of ‘Proud of Our Past, Confident in Our Future’ The first floor elaborated on the future aspect, with the Blood Hound F-TYPE simulator available for guests to undertake an adventure whilst highlighting the capability and innovation of Jaguar vehicles. It also exhibited the full range of the new Jaguar Land Rover vehicles, including the Jaguar XE, XF, XJ and F-TYPE, and the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Defender.

The showroom is the first purpose-built facility in the MENA region to be fully compliant with Jaguar Land Rover’s latest corporate identity standards. Located adjacent to the existing Euro Motors showroom in Sitra, the two-level showroom is spread over 5,000 square metres and has been specially designed to house new as well as approved Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles for a minimum of ten years.

The facility also incorporates a state-of-the-art workshop with its capacity more than twice that of the current one, and it will allow work on 32 vehicles at a time. Its growth will be supported by an increase in the staffing levels to a total of 100 technical and non-technical personnel.

Managing director of Jaguar Land Rover MENA, Bruce Robertson, said: “The new showroom is optimised to serve Jaguar Land Rover customers in luxurious and comfortable conditions.

“This new facility will provide customers with a premium purchasing environment and the latest in car repairing technologies and services, as well as being in compliance with our latest and highest corporate identity standards.

“The new showroom is part of our ambitious plan to expand our business with strong local partners to provide a high level of customer service and support to our valued customers.”

Nawaf Al Zayani, managing director of Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover, said: “This is a significant occasion for us as we celebrate the illustrious history we have shared with Jaguar Land Rover Limited over the years, the glorious milestones we have accumulated along the way and our rapid progress since then to the elevated position we are in at present.”

“With the Al Zayani family being the first to bring the Land Rover franchise to the MENA region, we are proud to say that we have deep-rooted relations with Jaguar Land Rover. Our business association with Land Rover goes back to 1949, when we became the sole distributors for the famous brand in Bahrain; and having earned the trust of Jaguar Land Rover Ltd, Euro Motors was in 2013 appointed as the exclusive importer and distributor for Jaguar in Bahrain as well. We have since gone from strength to strength in exceeding all expectations with our exceptional sales record with respect to both distinguished brands.”

The new XF is described as a dynamic, coupé-like, lightweight iteration of the model that stays true to the principles of elegant lines and disciplined surfacing.

It retains its predecessor’s core attributes while using Jaguar’s aluminium-intensive architecture to enable weight savings that assures the delivery of dramatic improvements in packaging and proportions.
