See the shot

Unlike the majority of other ball sports, in golf the ball is sitting still before you play your stroke.

Unfortunately on the course this allows a golfer time to create negative thoughts or focus on the mechanics of the swing, which hamper the shot.

Next time you play, after completing your practice swings move into the ball quicker and concentrate totally on the outcome of the shot i.e. hitting down the left side of the fairway or your ball flying high to a specific point.

By focusing on a positive image and the outcome of the shot, this gives less chance to ‘freeze’ during the swing and encourages the correct movements for the right result.
