band and wife Steven and Samantha Hill narrowly won Week 4 of the Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with 32 strokes.
duo of Sattam Algosaibi and Mohammed Al Sayed took the runners-up spot with 33 strokes after a play-off on the back six holes, leaving Kyle Ingham and playing partner Alistair Rushton in third place with the same score. Rushton claimed a second prize after winning a nearest-the-pin side contest on hole 16 while Nils Berge came nearest to the pin on hole 12.
More than 25 golfers competed in the Shambles format tournament which was played under floodlights on the back nine holes of the challenging Montgomerie championship course.
The the club’s director of golf operations Philip Waine presented the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.
Results: 1st Steven & Samantha Hill (32 strokes), 2nd Sattam Algosaibi & Mohammed Al Sayed (33 - back 6 play off), 3rd Kyle Ingham & Alistair Rushton (33), 4th Ebrahim Al Hashel & Stewart Tankard (34 – 18th hole play off), 5th Eid Adel Meftah & Ahmed Mohd Ahmed (34 - back 3 play off). Nearest the Pins: Nils Berge (hole 12) & Alistair Rushton (hole 16).
