Meet Daisy, the famous three-legged moggy who belongs to Anna-Marie Dowling, Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ complex general manager at City Centre Bahrain, who recently appeared on the cover of this newspaper.
Readers were no doubt impressed how the acclaimed hotelier progressed from humble beginnings as a waitress to running five-star properties, but were also keen to know more about her pet, which got a small mention at the end of the feature about her taking the helm at The Westin and Le Méridien.
The 21-year-old puss (the equivalent of 101 human years) has been a part of her life since it was six months old. Daisy, who lost a leg after an altercation with a Jack Russell, is currently being cared for by Anna-Marie’s parents. This is one of only two pictures she has of the cat, as she waits for her container of belongings to arrive from the UK.
