Al Rashid Group’s comfy, cool brand Max was re-launched at Oasis Mall in East Riffa, entertaining shoppers with a trendy Mum & Kids Fashion Show.

Organisers kicked off the Sunday evening celebration in style as mums and their children strutted down the catwalk modelling shirts, dresses, denim shorts and other casual attire from the store’s latest collection.

Modelling mum Hirshin Manchanda, 33, the assistant human resources manager for Bin Hindi Group, had a great time showcasing a semi-formal gown with her five-year-old son Aaryan, a student at the British School of Bahrain, who wore a colourful hoodie and sweats.

Hirshin, from Juffair, said: “Aaryan and I had a lot of fun and now he wants to be a model! All the outfits worn by us, including the accessories, were from the store. I find their clothing causal and comfortable.”

After the show, Nirmal Shah, Max concept manager, along with Sachin Dutta, head of human resources for the group, Ajay Nair, head of finance of the group, and Amrik Panesar, head of Centrepoint, handed out gifts to the participants and inaugurated the store.

Shoppers then flocked into the revamped outlet to check out its new look, layout and special offers.

Nurse Remya Linto, 27, from A’ali, was delighted with the ‘two-for-BD2’ offer on shirts for her two-year-old son, Antlin. She said: “I love the quality at Max. It is my favourite brand.”

The retailer includes clothing for men, women and children as well as footwear and home accessories. There are currently eight stores in the kingdom.
