Each spring for over a decade now, we’ve had the pleasure of being inspired and entertained by some of the world’s most talented artists, thinkers and performers and this year was no exception.
As we bid farewell to another cultural season, we’d like to thank everybody involved for making the celebration such a success; to our sponsors and partners, to the local and international artists who came from near and far to participate, and to you – our wonderful audience members – for your continued support, passion and enthusiasm.
If you have any feedback or suggestions you’d like to share, we would love to hear from you. You can drop us a line at info@springofculture.org
It’s going to be a little quieter around here for a while, but we’re already busy planning next year’s festival so watch this space! As soon as we have any updates or event announcements to share you’ll be the first to know.
Until then, thank you again – we had a blast and hope you did too.
Spring of Culture team, Bahrain.
The French School of Bahrain is presenting its annual musical on May 19 at the Cultural Hall at 6.30pm.
This is the fourth year the middle school students will be producing a musical in English. This is a wonderful achievement for the enthusiastic group of students as English is, for many, the second language and, for some, even the third language.
About 50 students are participating in the event. The age group of the students is 11-15. In the past, the shows have been a great success.
The musical is in English, featuring Arabic, French and English songs. Proceeds from the sales will be given to charity. The students have worked very hard and have been rehearsing on Saturdays.
Tickets are available with the cast and crew and can also be bought at the door.
Please come to support a great cause. We look forward to welcoming you all.

The time has come for me to say goodbye to Bahrain and to all of you wonderful people who have, in one way or another, supported me during my time as corporate communications officer at The Palm Association. It has been wonderful to see so many come forward and donate money and time to this worthy cause.
The association is looking for new committee members and, if you do know anyone who is willing to volunteer, please ask them to get in touch at this email address. For the time being all business and communications matters will be handled by our chairperson Karen Tennant.
Thank you for your continued support.
