The St Christopher’s School Big Band, conducted by Paul Bagshaw, will be performing at St Christopher’s Cathedral as part of the regular series of cathedral concerts.
Between 16 to 20 musicians, both students and others connected with the school form the Community Big Band and they will be playing a mixture of popular music and easy listening jazz.

The Manama Singers are hosting two events at the British Club of Bahrain later this month. On May 27 and 28, they will perform a Swing into Summer concert featuring jazz classics from 6.30pm on both evenings, while on May 27 they will stage a Disney Favourites show from 4pm.

The French School of Bahrain is presenting a Musical 2016 Show on May 19 at the Cultural Hall from 6.30pm. Directed by Sadaf Karim, it tells the story of a group of children auditioning for a part in a new school musical and competing against each other at all costs.
