International retailer Géant, which unveiled its first outlet on the island at the Bahrain Mall in 2001, has opened the doors to its second Géant easy convenience store at Riffa Village Mall, following the success of its outlet in Saar Mall.
The mall is located in East Riffa on the highway to Zallaq, Al Jazair Beach, Bahrain International Circuit and within easy reach of Riffa Views.
Géant Hypermarket in Bahrain is a Fu-Com International venture, in association with Groupe Casino of France, one of the largest hypermarket chain operators of the world.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by mall owner Hamad Fakhro with Mark Lack, chief operating officer of Fucom International and Ashutosh Chakradeo, Bahrain country head.
The 1,500sqm store’s concept is to offer convenience alongside promotions and deals similar to those found at Géant hypermarkets, but ‘adjusted to meet the needs and expectations’ of customers in the area.
