The new Suzuki Baleno hatchback, which has already received positive reviews in the motoring press globally, has been unveiled at a ceremony held at the Suzuki Showroom in Khamis.
Attending were officials from Suzuki’s sole agent in Bahrain, Mohammed Jalal and Sons - Automotive Division, and guests. Company director Ahmed Jalal was also present.
“Baleno comes with sophisticated design and advanced technology,” said Maruti Suzuki managing director and chief executive Kenichi Ayukawa. “A lighter but stronger platform has helped our engineers offer best-in-class fuel efficiency.”
Described as a ‘a hidden gem’ in the super-mini class by one motoring critic who added that it was ‘fun to drive, practical and comfortable and for a compact car, it’s still got plenty of room, boasting a remarkably spacious interior’. It is available in nine different colours and comes with a starting price of BD4,850, including insurance, registration and five-years warranty.
