KANOO Motors officially inaugurated its McLaren Bahrain showroom last week with a glitzy ceremony at the location next to the exclusive Moda Mall at the Bahrain World Trade Centre.
The event was opened by McLaren Middle East managing director, Andreas Bareis, Kanoo Motors COO, Stefan Moench and head of McLaren Bahrain, Trevor Fletcher.
This comes after Kanoo Motors recently signed a deal to become the official distributor of McLaren vehicles in Bahrain, as recently revealed in GulfWeekly.
Ebrahim M Kanoo said: “We are proud and excited to be ushering in a new era for this supercar giant in the kingdom. McLaren is a brand that has captivated sports and supercar enthusiasts around the world.
“Despite its 50-year heritage in Formula 1T and racing disciplines, McLaren as an automotive manufacturer is relatively young with only five years as a full challenger to the market. In this short time, it has established a strong and loyal fan base of sports and supercars here in Bahrain and in neighbouring GCC countries.
“McLaren owners also deserve service facilities that match the supremely high performance of their cars. We reaffirm our commitment to providing a superior after sales service that offers our clients the level of quality they expect from the McLaren brand.
Added to this, McLaren confidence is further strengthened with its unique offering of a standard 3 year/100,000km warranty which is also extendable to 10 years.”
The showroom is now open to the public to view the range of luxury handcrafted cars. Aftersales care is available at a newly-created facility located in Tubli, with technicians already fully-trained by McLaren to ensure the highest standards of aftercare.
The range of vehicles available includes the Sports Series and Super Series models, such as the groundbreaking McLaren 650S and 675LT Spider which incorporates a range of Formula 1 technologies, such as the carbon fibre MonoCell, active aerodynamics and the state-of-the-art ProActive Chassis Control, providing the ultimate control on both road and track.
The multi award-winning Sports Series introduces McLaren DNA and performance credentials to the sports car segment.
