City Centre Bahrain has a new tale to tell as it embraces its annual storybook adventure and chooses Alice in Wonderland as its theme.

The display is set up in the centre court of the mall and looked magical with all its moving pieces and characters. Shoppers strolled through and could feel like they were inside the story. Red and white toad stools, rose bushes, magic mirrors and queen of heart cards decorated the scenes.

My son Zaidan liked the Cheshire Cat and the Tweedledum and Tweedledee twins. There was even the tea party scene which he headed straight to. I needed to find him some new clothing and with the current shopping promotions going on I didn’t want to miss out on a good bargain.

I went to Tommy Hilfiger Kids and picked out a red and white cotton, buttondown shirt, regularly priced at BD34.800 on sale for BD24.500 to wear under a cobalt blue logo sweater for BD26, which was originally priced at BD34.900.

It was paired with beige cotton trousers for BD22 and a red Tommy hat originally priced at BD12.9 but on sale for BD. I finished off his outfit with velcro trainers previously priced at BD36.900 and now are going for BD18.500.

Sacoor was our next stop and this time I started with a red hooded puffer vest also on sale for BD27.500 and chose this as the main focus of the outfit. The vest is perfect for a child as it’s warm but not too stuffy.

Underneath, I chose a cotton blue and white checkered button-down on sale for BD13.750, regularly priced at BD25. It contrasted well with the solid colour of the vest. The navy-blue cotton trousers proved to be a perfect match for only BD19.600, regularly priced at BD28. He looked ready to party and celebrate any occasion.
