Ali Al Kowari emerged victorious in the Nass Medal recently hosted by Awali Golf Club with an exceptional round which included seven birdies.
Al Kowari was both the medal winner with a gross score of 68 to clinch the medal, and overall competition winner with a net 60.
The competition’s current format has been run for the past 12 years, with Nass providing a substantial prize table and a charity raffle. 80 members braved hot and humid conditions in pursuit of the prizes.
Nass Construction GM Dave Anthony and his wife, Yvonne, were on hand to present the prizes and to facilitate the charity raffle. A full clubhouse gave generously in an attempt to secure one of the prizes and more than BD500 was raised for charity.
Additional divisional prize winners were: Flight 1- Essa Abdulla, Flight 2 –Kim Gross, Flight 3 – Phil Trueblood.
