The Bahrain team faced tough competition as it competed against 40 others from 35 countries. The team was led by Mohammed Mattar and included Ramez Azzam and Saeed Almahiri.

Batelco Racing won the race with 647 Laps covering 800km in the 12-hours ahead of CG Racing Pro from the UAE and Modave Racing.

Batelco corporate affairs senior manager Osama Alsaad praised the drivers excellent achievement which came as a result of their dedication and hard work in preparation for the race. “Our team consisted of a strong line-up of drivers with all of them being familiar with the RKC track and were supported throughout the race by a strong technical team who had developed different strategies for the race. These factors combined gave the team a competitive edge to realise their dream of being crowned the world double endurance champions for the second time,” he added.
