THE month-long community spirit of giving, charity endeavours and the plethora of iftars and ghabgas are frequent cause for celebration during the holy month.

What a difference it makes to the experience when you can open the throttle and put the steering through its paces as opposed to sidling from one traffic jam to the next.
What a joy it was to roar along with the 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine purring with pleasure. Generating a staggering 400hp, the engine offers ultimate performance without compromising on efficiency.
This head-turning beast, resplendent in bright red, was as glorious on the inside as it was on the outside with its sculptured lines and muscular proportions. The fine leather seats, high-back and high-bolster, were very comfortable and supportive, although as a six-footer the roof could have been an inch or two higher if I was being picky.
The Q60 is fully-customisable through the Drive Mode Selector (DMS) – accessed through an eight-inch upper touchscreen, one of two in the car (the other I used for media playback and flicking through my array of tunes as I cruised along). The system allows the drive mode to be selected from the following available options: ‘Standard’, ‘Snow’, ‘Eco’, ‘Sport’, ‘Sport+’ (new for certain models) and ‘Personal’. I don’t think you need to ask which my mode of preference was.
The 2017 Ramadan Campaign is being offered across the entire INFINITI line-up, and the Q60 is available starting from BD16,995. In addition, Infiniti is also offering special packages with five years and unlimited mileage extended warranty, two years or 30,000kms service contract, and car protection nano tech with three years warranty.
With a car this enjoyable and an offer that enticing, you may only have one choice this Ramadan: To Infiniti and Beyond. I know it was last week’s launch event headline but it’s worth repeating!
