Let’s line it up

Alignment is one of the most important principles for hitting consistently straight shots.

Over time, many golfers will start to aim slightly off target without realising it and then start looking at other parts of the swing to find a reason why the ball is not going straight. There is an easy way to fix this issue and to make sure that you align the body as well as you possibly can.

Every time you practice on the driving range, be sure to make use of alignment sticks to aid the setup. Lay one stick down on the ground straight to towards the target which is where the clubface will be aligned. The second stick should be parallel to the first one to show the alignment for the feet. Try this out and hit straighter shots without changing anything about your swing!
