Families and friends flocked to Al Areen Palace & Spa last week to mark India’s 70th Independence Day with a festival of music and authentic fare.
The four-day flavourful food frenzy kicked off with a special dinner inaugurated by Indian ambassador to Bahrain, Alok Kumar Sinha. Visitors were treated to a specially-crafted menu at the popular Saffron restaurant featuring unlimited kebabs and biryanis with the sultry sounds of Ghazal music performed by Farakh Ali.
