The Pakistani community celebrated its Independence Day in fashionable style at The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Al Waha dining room. Dressed to impress, visitors admired the national monument replicas situated at the entrance of the venue as they gathered to enjoy a fun afternoon together feasting on traditional cuisine.
The Ritz-Carlton’s general manager, Jean Paul Dantil, said: “Congratulations to all the people of Pakistan on their 70th Independence Day. We are all grateful to have Pakistani ladies and gentlemen in our property and are proud to be part of this beautiful event.”
The event started with a flag hoisting ceremony and the playing of the National Anthem. This was followed by an elaborate lunch.
A specially-created cake was also prepared also featuring the flag to highlight the 70th Independence Day celebrations with members of the Pakistani community and their friends.
