I first realised my passion for writing around six years ago. I remember I was bored after completing a test early and started using the back of my notebook to compose a poem and test out my handwriting.

It didn’t seem as eventful then as it does now because the art of making words rhyme developed into something far more important and serious to me as I grew up.

I could see for myself how these ‘words’, when properly put together, could convey the deepest of feelings in the form of poems and articles.

I am elated that my first book A Soulful Surrender - Hostage to my Thoughts has completed a week of its release. It is an anthology of my poems and can be searched up on Amazon.

This book is a poetic journey through my perceptions of hope, despair, love and ambition.

It also has the shades of optimism while getting into the melancholy of failure, confinement, sadness and separation.

The poems closest to my heart are the ones relating to domestic violence, as, in a way, they are my first recollection of my attempts at women empowerment.

I am extremely excited and hope that I get your reviews and support in this endeavour!
