An award-winning high-rise residential development in one of Bahrain’s most desirable locations is set to deliver on its promise of completion by the end of this year.
Seef Terraces is now offering future owners the opportunity to tour its apartments and facilities to witness the progress and quality finishings first-hand.
The $48,000,000 (BD18m) building features 173 studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with large private terraces boasting views of the sea and Manama’s skyline.
Situated across from City Centre Bahrain, it is being developed by Dadabhai Noon Real Estate and Pegasus Real Estate NAI Bahrain will act as sales agents. Aziz Mithaiwala, Pegasus’ managing director, said: “Dadabhai Construction has met the challenge to provide spacious living areas and all the facilities and lifestyle amenities for a modern lifestyle in a record time-span of a year-and-a-half.
“We are looking forward to handing over the apartments in the first quarter of next year so we are very much on target in terms of what we promised and how it will be delivered.”
Aziz believes utilising a unique ‘elevation technique’ has helped ensure the construction process has been delivered on time. It is designed to be earthquake resistant and will include a leisure and recreational deck with tennis and squash courts, a BBQ area, a jogging track, a cinema, a multi-purpose hall, an indoor basketball court, a billiards room, table tennis centre and a large outdoor landscaped play area for children.
There will also be separate spa and gym amenities for men and women, including steam, sauna and Jacuzzi rooms. Another highlight will be a rooftop infinity pool.
The first four floors will be dedicated to parking with more than 185 spaces for tenants. The tower will also be equipped with 24/7 CCTV security, access control entry-exit and a double height air-conditioned lobby with exquisite finishes.
Currently 90 per cent of the 29-storey freehold property’s internal finishings are completed and an impressive 65 per cent of the apartments have already been snapped up by keen investors.
Construction commenced in May 2016 with the guarantee that the tower would be finalised by the end of this year with apartments being handed over to residents within the first quarter of 2018.
The project provides a welcoming boost to the kingdom’s property sector still reeling from high-profile stalled developments. Aziz said: “There are a lot of projects within the market that are either getting delayed or are delayed. We launched around the same time as a few major developments and are delivering what we promised on facilities, location and designing aspects.
“We are seeing increased interest now with people coming back from their summer holidays.”
Show apartments on site, featuring one and two-bedroom apartments, are proving particularly popular as they offer visitors a ‘first-hand experience’ of their future homes. The developers also created an augmented reality app to showcase the property in 3D for close analysis within the comfort of their offices and homes. Investors and buyers have also been given live-cam access to monitor the progress on a real-time basis.
“Owners are thrilled with our progress and now they are physically able to go inside the building and see the apartments for themselves,” added Aziz. “We are moving the show apartments from the site to the 19th floor and that will give people a clear perspective of what the view is like and the inside of the building. It’s a game changer for us.”
As reported in GulfWeekly, the freehold Seef Terraces won two internationally-acclaimed accolades for its quality apartments and aesthetic appeal at the Africa & Arabia Property Awards.
The residential tower was awarded for being the best high-rise residential development and for offering the best residential development individual units. The Africa & Arabia Property Awards, which is in its 26th year, was judged by an independent panel of 70 industry experts and was chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, The Earl of Liverpool, and Lord Thurso, members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament.
