YOUNG wannabe chefs and their parents can receive tips on how to prepare and bake perfect National Day sweet sensations with one of the kingdom’s most celebrated pastry masters.
Executive pastry chef Daniel Lajoux and his kitchen team will be staging a special family session on Saturday as part of the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa’s successful ‘The Art of Cooking Classes’ series.
“All you need is patience, passion and love for this craft,” he said: “The class will assist the participants to create tasty pastries and have plenty of fun too!”
The Art of Cooking Class initiative is designed for home cooks with busy lifestyles who have a passion for food and offer intimate hands-on and demonstration classes from the building blocks of cooking to delicious and exclusive mouthwatering menus, led by professional chef instructors.
And Chef Daniel is hoping to inspire the next generation of young cooks by creating sessions of creativity and discovery with fun family days.
Saturday’s class takes place from 10.30am to noon and will include lunch. It costs BD18net and only limited spaces are available.
