The Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa is hosting a variety of offerings. This season the hotel is collecting wishes for the Smile charity which helps children with cancer make their dreams come true.

The hotel will host a New Year’s Eve celebration at The Gulf Convention Centre on Sunday, with entertainment from Beauty and the Beats, an internationally-renowned all-female group. The night will feature music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, top 100 hits, deep house, house and pop. This is priced at BD55 net per person and is inclusive of a lavish buffet spread of dessert with apple and cranberry lattice tart, chocolate hazelnut, cream cheese puffs, ricotta tart with chocolate and kumquats and almond macaroon galette for the finishing.

Entertainment will feature jazz saxophone player Miss S, percussionist Ms Dee and singer Ms Lady S. DJ (DJANE – NC) will also be spinning her groove mix-compilations till the wee hours of the party.

In addition, visitors can celebrate the New Year from any of the other award-winning restaurants, including Al Waha restaurant, Royal Thai, China Garden, Sato and Takth Jamsheed.

For a more pub-style New Year’s welcome, dance your heart out with our DJs famous tracks at Sherlock Holmes and Typhoon.

For those who want to celebrate and bring their children with them, the hotel is providing a special New Year’s Eve children’s fun area, where youngsters can play, dine and even sleep under supervision. Children under four will require a nanny or relative to be with. The night is priced at BD20net.

The Gulf Hotel is also hosting a New Year’s Day Brunch at Al Waha restaurant on Monday, priced at BD25net inclusive of selected beverages, and 50 per cent off for kids aged six to 12 years.
