It was all sunshine on Friday at the Awali Golf Club (AGC) when 69 golfers took a swing at the singles Stableford-style Captain’s Prize competition. AGC’s captain Paul Anderson was pleased to provide prizes and refreshments for this annual event.
It was a close competition with overall winner Paul McLean scoring 42 points, while 2nd place went to Salem Khalifa with 41 points.
3rd, 4th and 5th places went to Essal Al Qutami with 41 points, Dong Jin Jeong with 40 points and Sarah Hobday with 40 points respectively.
5th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th places went to Daij Khalifa, Sang Oak Nam, Rashic Al Kaabi, Mohammed Salmeen and Jassim Al Ghatam, all having scored 39 points.
