Property seekers looking to purchase a new home and investors interested in upcoming developments will find a plethora of offerings on show at The Bahrain International Property Exhibition (BIPEX) during the ‘best time to buy’.

The property show, which is in its 11th edition and organised by the Bahrain Society of Engineers, will be held on November 1 to 3 at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre in Manama.

The exhibition annually serves as one of the platforms used to promote the region’s major infrastructures and real estate projects. This year, the event will showcase the critical role of Bahrain’s economic diversification by highlighting its major achievements in infrastructure, real estate and leisure projects.

The society recently unveiled its plans for the November event to invited guests, developers and members of the media at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.

Dr Dheya Tawfiqi, president of the Bahrain Society of Engineers, explained that the value of the present and future real estate projects exceeded BD30 billion in Bahrain only and that these figures were increasing.

“This is an indication that the real estate market plays a significant role in the economies of the region and also reflects the role of engineer and the engineering establishments in contributing in this direction,” he added.

A series of ongoing 2018 BIPEX Forums focusing on a ‘Building Communities, Developing Bahrain’ theme will highlight education, healthcare, housing and transport.

Mohammed Khalil Alsayed, chairman of the organising committee for BIPEX, said: “The new real estate regulatory environment unveiled for the kingdom is another step to providing stability to the sector. Due to this, it is more than likely that the field will be left open only to serious players.

“It’s important to appreciate that after a period of transition and adjustment, the price-levels could be on a steady growth path into the immediate future. It would not be unreasonable to say that the best time to enter the market is now.”
