The recent Royalists Club Championships were staged at the Royal Golf Club over 18 holes in a strokeplay competition format attracting 28 players.
With every shot counting, when the gross scores were recorded, and handicaps were subtracted, the winner was the player with the lowest nett score and Jamie Bowen, off a 16 handicap with a nett 68 proved triumphant.
Yaseen Le Falher won the lowest gross prize with a gross 78.
Bowen won the coveted Royalists Club Championship Trophy which was presented to him by last year’s winner Ben Elsworth and Le Falher walked away with a prize voucher for the pro shop.
